OK, it looks a bit dated by today's standards, but in 1991 "Dare to be Different" was the rule, and bright monochromatic colors were all the rage! This Pacer included a six cylinder to 401 V8 conversion, Art Morrison rear suspension with narrowed 8 3/4" rear axle, and a fabricated rear frame and 6-point roll cage by Flip. Notice the unique graphics which actually passed through the doors! 1991 Hot Rod Super Nationals award winner, and included in the September 1991 HOT ROD Magazine show coverage.





December 2012 Update:
More than 20 years after selling my Pro Street Pacer it was neat to see it for sale in Kentucky, and to know that it has survived all these years. Although the car has been extensively reworked and is now motivated by a blown 360 Chrysler engine, the unique graphics passing through the doors remain!
